Dead Or Alive singer Pete Burns has died at the age of 57, his management has confirmed this evening.
In a statement on Twitter, Burns’ management said that it was with "greatest sadness" that it had to confirm the "tragic news" that the Dead Or Alive star passed away suddenly yesterday (Sunday, October 23) having suffered cardiac arrest.
Burns’ biggest hit was You Spin Me Round in 1985. He also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2006.
"All of his family and friends are devastated by the loss of our special star," the statement said. "He was a true visionary, a beautiful talented soul, and he will be missed by all who loved and appreciated everything he was and all of the wonderful memories the has left us with."
