Radio 1's Live Lounge Month returns with Jorja Smith, Stella Lefty, Rachel Chinouriri and Sam Smith

Charlie Hedges and Jeremiah Asiamah have revealed the Live Lounge Month 2026 line-up of superstars and breakthrough artists ahead of its return in October.

This year’s Live Lounge Month will run from Monday, October 5 to Friday, October 30, with performances taking place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 12pm on the new Radio 1 show hosted by Hedges and Asiamah. 

As is customary, each Live Lounge performance will feature exclusive live versions of the artists’ biggest hits alongside special cover tracks.

Radio 1’s Live Lounge Month 2026 line-up is:

Monday, October 5 – Blossoms

Wednesday, October 7 – Nothing But Thieves

Friday, October 9 – Sam Smith

Monday, October 12 – Stella Lefty

Wednesday, October 14 – Chase & Status

Friday, October 16 – Jorja Smith

Monday, October 19 – Beabadoobee

Wednesday, October 21 – Rachel Chinouriri

Friday, October 23 – Odeal

Monday, October 26 – Anderson.Paak x Cordae

Wednesday, October 28 – to be revealed

Friday, October 30 – Royal Blood

Aled Haydn Jones, head of Radio 1, said: “Live Lounge Month is always one of the biggest moments in Radio 1’s music calendar, bringing some of the biggest artists in the world to the Live Lounge alongside some of the most exciting new names in music. It’s the unexpected covers, incredible stripped-back performances and those special moments we know our listeners love.

“This year’s line-up is incredibly exciting, and I love that Charlie and Jerry are revealing it in their very first show together. They’re going to bring a brilliant energy to the Live Lounge especially throughout October, and I can’t wait for our listeners to hear what they’ve got in store.”

All performances can be heard on Radio 1 and BBC Sounds every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 12pm from Monday, October 5, and will be available to watch on Radio 1’s BBC iPlayer and YouTube channels.

Over the years, Radio 1’s Live Lounge has featured Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, Noah Kahan and Olivia Dean. 

Past Live Lounge tracks from Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa and Bruno Mars have attracted over 50 million views each on Radio 1’s YouTube channel.
