Music Week is delighted to reveal that the Music Week Tech Summit together with O2 is back for 2019.
Following last year’s blockbuster debut, we’re returning to The O2 in London to dissect the music technology sector on October 8, 2019.
Tickets go on sale next month, stay tuned to musicweek.com for further details and be sure to save the date in your diaries ahead of the big day.
The inaugural Music Week Tech Summit partnered with Kobalt, Ticketmaster, MQA, PRS For Music and Ingrooves, while a range of speakers arrived from far and wide to debate a range of issues from radio and AI, to voice activation and digital marketing.
Joe Harland, head of visual and multiplatform radio for BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Radio 2, 6 Music and Asian Network, kicked off the day with a roving performance on stage that highlighted disruption in music tech.
More than 300 guests gathered to hear a range of speakers and experts that included Live Nation’s Jackie Wilgar, Amazon Music’s Alex Luke, Kobalt’s Rian Liebenberg, Vanessa Higgins of the BPI, Warner Bros digital guru Sebastian Simone and Island Records’ Claire Mas.
