WHO: Meet 19-year-old YouTuber Deji The Gamer, who’s made the move from video blogging to rapping.

WHAT: DTG has caught the eye (not to mention the ear) recently with Theresa, an Afroswing-inspired songs that takes aim at Theresa May.

SO, A YOUTUBE RAPPER?

The explosion in UK rap is such that record labels are seeking to sweep up new talent in all corners. When GRM Daily premiered DTG’s video for Theresa, the views rocketed (it’s reached over one million since January) and Capitol swooped.

WHAT’S HIS BEEF WITH THERESA MAY, THEN?

Well, DTG’s undeniably catchy track hangs on the lines, “They wanna lie like Theresa/Now they wanna play games like it’s FIFA.” It’s unlikely to strike fear into Andrew Marr, but it’s got people talking nonetheless.
