Britain’s best-loved rep, paper merchant and singer songwriter David Brent is set to release his long-awaited debut album Life On The Road next month, with a couple of London live dates announced in support of the launch.
Released via Caroline International on August 19th, Life On The Road is the first record released by Gervais under the Brent guise and features such classics as Free Love Freeway, Spaceman and Equality Street. It is available on CD, LP (12” vinyl), and as a digital download.
Brent and his band Foregone Conclusion will be taking the songs on the road, albeit briefly, as they play two shows at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on September 8th and 9th.
The album is released in conjunction with the upcoming film David Brent: Life On The Road, which is also out on August 19th.
