UMC co-MD David Rowe has told Music Week that Madness “have an incredible legacy, but they’re not a legacy act”, after revealing that the band have signed a deal with the label for what is set to be their first major label record since 1999. “Madness are an act that live and breathe for the fans and from a business point of view they are very much in the here and now,” added Rowe.
