Today (January 11) Motörhead have confirmed the death of their legendary former guitarist “Fast” Eddie Clarke. In a post made on their official Facebook account, Clarke was reported to have “passed peacefully in hospital where he was being treated for pneumonia”.
As a member of Motörhead, Clarke contributed to some of the most influential rock records of all time, including their self-titled 1977 debut, 1979’s Overkill and 1980’s Ace Of Spades. Clarke left the band in 1982.
