Take That announce 2017 Wonderland tour

Take That have announced plans to tour in support of their upcoming new album Wonderland.

The release was announced on Saturday (October 22) after teasers emerged via the band’s social media on Friday (October 21). The album is scheduled for March 17 next year, with Take That to take Wonderland Live 2017 on the road from May 17. The tour will span 22 dates across 10 cities in the UK and Ireland, with tickets on sale from Friday (October 28) at 9:30am. Support comes from All Saints, who released comeback album Red Flag in April.

Take That have sold over 7.6 million concert tickets and have scored seven UK Number One albums and 15 Number One singles, selling 45m records in the process. Their 2011 Progress run of dates set the record for the fastest-selling tour in UK history when 1.34m tickets sold in less than 24 hours.

Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen have been operating as a trio since 2014, when Robbie Williams and Jason Orange both left. Wonderland follows III as their second album as a three-piece.
