Country superstar Shania Twain has today (June 15) confirmed that she is set to release her brand new album NOW on September 29 via Virgin/EMI, her first since 2002’s UP. The album, which sees Twain assume the role of sole songwriter for the first time in her career, will be offered as both a 12-track standard edition and a 16-track deluxe edition and is available to preorder now on Twain’s official site.
The news also comes alongside the official unveiling of her uplifting comeback single, Life’s About To Get Good. Twain is set to play her first UK show in 13 years as part of BBC Radio 2’s Live In Hyde Park event on September 10.
To date, Twain has sold over 75 million albums worldwide. According to Official Charts Company data, her best-selling release in the UK is 1999’s Come On Over which has sold 3,411,796 copies to date.
