Today (August 18) Miley Cyrus has released her latest single Younger Now via Sony Music. Younger Now is the title track from Cyrus’s upcoming album set for release on September 29. The single’s lyrics were written by Cyrus and the music and production was the result of a collaboration between the singer and Oren Yoel. The music video for Younger Now, co-directed by Diane Martel and Cyrus and choreographed by Michael Rooney pays homage to Elvis. The video’s release marks the 40th anniversary of Elvis’s death.
Cyrus is set to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards airing on August 27 where her single Malibu is nominated for Best Pop Video. This September she will return as a coach for the 13th season of NBC’s The Voice, which premieres on September 25.
