Ol' Dirty Bastard: The Movie could be coming to a theatre near you… after reports that a Hollywood studio has signed-up to produce the project.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony's Columbia Pictures are onboard to make a biopic about the late rapper which his bandmate, Wu-Tang Clan leader RZA, is set to produce.
The studio itself is yet to comment, but the report suggests that the search for a director for the film is now underway.
ODB passed away in 2004, while a film about his life was first mooted by RZA – himself an accomplished actor, composer and director in the film world – in 2016.
