Clean Bandit have claimed the 2016 Christmas No.1 crown with their hit Rockabye.
Notching up sales of 57,361 this week to clinch the top spot for Christmas, Clean Bandit have now made it seven consecutive weeks atop the official single chart.
The group beat Rag’N’Bone Man in the race for Christmas No.1, with the BRITs Critics’ Choice winner finishing at No.2 with his song Human, despite registering more downloads than Clean Bandit, highlighting the chart toppers’ popularity on streaming platforms.
At No.3 are Louis Tomlinson and Steve Aoki with Just Hold On, while Little Mix are at No.4 with Touch. Mariah Carey’s Christmas classic All I Want For Christmas Is You completes the festive Top 5.
Meanwhile, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe’s collaborative album Together has romped to victory on the albums chart to secure the Christmas No.1 spot on sales of 109,708. Following at No. 2 is Little Mix’s Glory Days on sales of 77,895, while Elvis Presley compilation The Wonder Of You is at No.3 on sales of 73,461.
Rock legends the Rolling Stones take the No.4 spot with Blue & Lonesome on sales of 57,483, while Olly Murs holds the No.5 spot with 24 HRS hitting sales of 57,386.
