Bowie catalogue breaks into charts
A huge jump in sales of Bowie albums and singles has pushed the late star's catalogue into the Official Charts.
Latest album Blackstar was already at No.1 in yesterday's midweeks, but sales have more than doubled overnight to 86,687.
Elsewhere in the Albums Chart, The Best Of 1969/1974 sits just outside the Top 10 at No.13, on sales of 6,119. The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust (No.19) and Hunky Dory (No.20) make it into the Top 20, shifting 3,952 ...
