Record Store Day has announced a series of limited releases for this year's Black Friday shopping event, which takes place on November 29.
A number of one-off vinyl pressings from the likes of Arcade Fire, U2, Lewis Capaldi, Lizzo, Miles Davis, Nas, Slipknot and more will be available exclusively in British shops.
The organisers of the annual celebration of independent record shops have produced releases to time in with the now international shopping day – the Friday after Thanksgiving in the US – since 2010.
"Record Store Day, have worked to shift the culture of Black Friday," they explained in a statement. "Moving away from the mass-produced, low as you can go event, Record Store Day Black Friday instead concentrates on offering music fans a selection of exclusive and special releases that highlight how great shopping in record shops can be."
The full list of releases, details of the editions and information on participating shops can be found at www.recordstoreday.co.uk.
