Warren Haynes, the versatile US guitarist who played with the Allman Brothers Band, Gov't Mule and the Grateful Dead and who fronts The Warren Haynes Band and Ashes and Dust Band, has inked an exclusive global music publishing deal with US independent music publisher Atlas.
The deal covers all his catalogue of past and future works.
Atlas founder/CEO Richard Stumpf described the Grammy Award-winning vocalist-songwriter and guitarist as "an incredible songwriter."
"I'm very excited to be working with Rich Stumpf again and his new company Atlas. Not only is he passionate, he's a real music guy that we're lucky to have in the business," Haynes said.
Added Stumpf, "In addition to songs he made famous, like Soulshine and Rocking Horse, Warren penned one of Garth Brooks' most performed song, Two of a Kind, Workin' on a Full House. He is a true creative spirit who can work across many genres, and it is with great pride and humbleness that we welcome Warren to the Atlas family. We look forward to bringing Warren many new opportunities where his writing will shine."
Atlas was founded in 2013 by Stumpf to provide a service-oriented music publishing house for top artists/songwriters. Its roster counts such established acts as Van Halen, Counting Crows, Sean Garrett, known for his work with Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Pussycat Dolls, among others, Dan the Automator, Mike & Keys, Matthew West and Ashley Gorley as well as emerging artists like Oshea, Alex Winston, Alex Vargas, Slothrust, and Secret Weapons.
