Warner/Chappell Music has today (April 10) announced it has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Argentinian trap star and songwriter, Ecko.
The deal marks the first exclusive publishing agreement with a major publisher for the artist, whose songs Bye, Dorado, and Piso have all topped the Argentinian charts.
Speaking about the deal, Gustavo Menendez, president, Warner/Chappell Music, Latin America said: “Ecko’s unmistakable style has made him a leader in the Latin trap movement, and we’re excited to keep the momentum going as we welcome him to the Warner/Chappell family.”
Ecko added: “I am very excited to partner with Warner/Chappell in this new phase in my career. Gustavo and his team understand my vision, and I look forward to continuing to grow as an artist and composer alongside them.”
An official press release stated that Ecko is currently recording new music in Miami to be released later this year.
