Kate Alderton has been appointed as UK Finance Director of Warner/Chappell Music.
In her new role, Alderton will take charge of all of the company’s UK’s financial activity and will report to Mike Lavin, European regional finance director, and managing director Mike Smith.

Mike Smith said: “This is a thoroughly well-deserved promotion for Kate. She has a brilliant understanding of the changes the business is going through. Her good humour, hard work and creativity are invaluable when it comes to delivering the best possible solutions for our songwriters.”
Alderton joined Warner/Chappell Music in 2012, serving first as financial controller and subsequently as head of finance. She previously served at Deloitte and is a graduate of the University Of East Anglia.
