Warner Chappell Music has signed an exclusive sub-publishing agreement with Round Hill Music.
The deal covers the world, excluding the US, Canada, the British Isles, and the Nordics. Under terms of the agreement, Warner Chappell will administer Round Hill copyrights and explore creative opportunities for Round Hill songs and songwriters across the globe.
Founded in 2010, Round Hill has grown to become one of the largest independent music rights owners in the world. It recently expanded into the UK with the acquisition of Carlin.
“In less than a decade, Round Hill has built an extraordinary collection of evergreen copyrights and iconic catalogues, while at the same time signing some of today’s most exciting and gifted songwriters,” said Warner Chappell Music co-chair & CEO Guy Moot and co-chair & COO Carianne Marshall. “The global potential is enormous, and all of us at Warner Chappell around the world are thrilled to partner with Josh, Richard, Neil and the entire Round Hill team to find new avenues and audiences for this amazing body of work.”
