Sony/ATV has appointed Ian Holder as vice president, creative.
In his new role he will be based in New York and report to SVP, head of east coast A&R Rich Christina.
He previously spent 10 years at US performing rights organisation BMI where he was director of writer/publisher relations. His signings included Frank Ocean, Post Malone, Desiigner, Rae Sremmurd, Kiiara, MadeinTYO, Pusha-T, Action Bronson, Sage The Gemini, Plies, Tyga, Prodigy of Mobb Deep and Grammy-winning production team The J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League (Rick Ross, Drake, Nas, 2 Chainz). Prior to that he worked in Columbia Records’ A&R Department.
