Phrased differently sells 50% stake to Cloud 9
Dutch publishing company Cloud 9 Music has acquired a 50% stake in UK-based boutique publisher Phrased Differently.
The company’s catalogue consists of over 2,000 songs including singles by Calvin Harris, Miley Cyrus, Iggy Azalea, Tinie Tempah, Britney Spears, Olly Murs, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Hardwell, Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Little Mix, Avicii and Tiësto.
Phrased Differently was founded in 2006 by the company’s MD, former Universal Records A&R executive and songwriter Hiten Bharadia.
