Gomez's Tom Gray, Crispin Hunt (pictured), Antony Bebawi and Philip Pope have joined the PRS Board.
Musicians Gray, Hunt and Pope are new writer directors and join Barry Blue, Michelle Escoffery and Steve Levine, who are reappointed, while new publishing director Bebawi will sit alongside Jackie Alway, Simon Anderson, Chris Butler and Richard King, who are also retained.
Introducing the new directors PRS chairman, Nigel Elderton, said: “It’s an absolute pleasure to welcome new Directors Antony, Crispin, Philip and Tom to the Board. As an organisation that is governed by its members, for its members, it is wonderful to have them guiding PRS forward as we continue to build on its investments and successes. Their insights and experience in the music business will be invaluable to our mission.”
The announcement was made at PRS' AGM in London which also witnessed chief executive Robert Ashcroft's final speech before he steps down at the end of the year.
