Warner/Chappell Music has today (October 20) announced it has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Swedish singer/songwriter Linnea Södahl – who wrote the global smash single Lush Life for Zara Larsson.
Södahl has additional credits on Tinie Tempah’s top 10 album Youth, Skott’s song Wolf, and Grey’s Crime and co-wrote and featured on the Jaded single In The Morning. She has worked with artists including Anne-Marie, Axwell, Icona Pop, Louisa Johnson, Tove Styrke and Wizkid.
Speaking about the deal, Linnea Södahl said: “I'm all about gut feeling, so when I had the chance to work with Warner/Chappell I knew I had to! Warner/Chappell is the home to several of my favourite writers and artists, and I'm so excited to be part of that team that will help take my song writing to the next level.”
Mike Smith, managing director, Warner/Chappell Music UK, added: “Linnea is a tremendous young talent and a songwriter who I’m incredibly impressed by. I’m really looking forward to see her continue to grow and develop with us at Warner/Chappell.”
