Rapper, songwriter, actor, exec and producer Ice T has extended his long-term relationship with independent music publisher, Reach Music, and concluded a new worldwide administration agreement.
Reach Music will continue to administer Ice T's complete catalogue, which includes 99 Problems (famously sampled by Jay-Z), Colors, 6 ‘N The Mornin, and all songs by the legendary metal band Body Count. The latter will play Download Festival in June.
Commenting on the signing, Michael Closter, president and founder of Reach Music, said: “It is a great honour to continue to represent the iconic and impactful songs of Ice T. We are thankful to have had the opportunity to represent Ice’s catalogue for over 10 years and look forward to the years ahead.”
Jorge Hinojosa, Manager of Ice T, added: “For the last 10 years, Reach Music have been aggressive partners that deliver consistently.”
Reach Music Publishing was founded by Closter in 1993. Its clients include John Mayer, Common, Chuck D, Danzig, Zakk Wylde, Lisa Loeb, Zac Brown and more.
