Warner Chappell Music has signed Afro B to a worldwide deal.
The songwriter, DJ and producer is at the forefront of the Afrowave scene, with his single Drogba (Joanna) amassing millions of streams and views across the globe and featuring on BBC 1Xtra’s A-list.
“Afrowave is becoming popular all over the world and working with Warner Chappell Music I know we can spread this infectious sound even further," said Afro B.
"Their team see and believe in my vision and will be able to help take African music to the next level.”
Warner Chappell Music's co-chair and CEO Guy Moot welcomed the Greenwich-born artist, real name is Ross Bayeto, to the publisher explaining: “Afro B is a special talent who is right at the forefront of a fresh and vibrant music scene. He’s in very high demand and I’m delighted that we’ve been able to get him on board at Warner Chappell Music.”
Earlier this month Warner Chappell Music signed Stone Temple Pilots' catalogue.
