British indie hip-hop artist Antony Szmierek has joined the Faber Alt roster.
The rising star from Manchester has made an impact with his blend of rap, spoken word and dance music.
Szmierek has been playlisted on BBC Radio 6 Music and was named as one of their Artists Of The Year in 2023. He has performed live in session at Maida Vale for BBC Radio 1, and has received backing from Jo Wiley, Steve Lamacq and Lauren Laverne.
He has also appeared on BBC Two’s Later... With Jools Holland.

Szmierek released a track with Jacana People, Twist Forever, and had his single The Words to Auld Lang Syne remixed by Porij, earning DJ support from Sister Bliss, Oliver Heldens, Calvin Harris and Martin Solveig. The track was used on a BBC Sport TV montage following England's 1-1 draw with Denmark.

He will take his live show to more festivals this summer and is working on his debut album.

“Representing Antony on the Faber Alt roster is an immense privilege,” said Lucy Holliday, Faber Alt creative director. “He brings a fantastic level of optimism, energy and an extraordinary lyrical prowess that means he's a natural fit for us on many levels. We are so excited about the journey ahead!”
