Downtown Music Benelux, the Amsterdam arm of Downtown Music Publishing, has announced an international partnership with Seattle-based independent Sub Pop Publishing.
Sub Pop Publishing’s roster of writers and recording artists will be able to leverage Downtown’s global creative infrastructure and established presence in the European market.
The company will also benefit from access to Songtrust, Downtown’s global royalty collection platform established in 2011.
“I am happy to be working with Gareth Smith again, who I know from my time at Chrysalis Publishing,” said Lucas van Slegtenhorst, Downtown Music Benelux managing director. “I am sure we can add great value to his growing roster at Sub Pop by helping them on creative opportunities.”

Sub Pop's roster of songwriters includes Shabazz Palaces, Clipping, Downtown Boys, Yuck, Sera Cahoone, EMA, Jenn Champion, Chad VanGaalen and Sales.
