Universal signs with Qtrax
The deal incorporates both Universal Music and Universal Publishing.
Universal becomes the first of the music majors to sign with Qtrax, although Qtrax already has deals in place with EMI Publishing, Beggars group and US indie TVT.
Qtrax announced it had all four majors on board when it launched at Midem in January. However, all of the majors immediately denied having deals in place with Qtrax.
