Universal set to buy EMI Music for £1.2bn - report

Music Week has approached Universal for comment.
Speculation has been rife for months over who will buy both EMI's recorded music and Publishing divisions from owner Citigroup.
The FT reported on Friday that Universal was readying a bid of $1.9bn, following the rejection of a $1.1bn offer.
