Shazam forms partnership with Indian streaming service Saavn
Shazam has announced an exclusive new partnership with the world’s largest Indian music streaming service Saavn.
The deal will allow music fans to discover the latest tracks from South Asian artists in Bollywood and beyond. It means that music discovery platform Shazam will cover popular genres such as bhangra, devotional, ghazals, Carnatic, Indipop and more.
It will also include music in regional languages including Hindi, Punkabi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Kannada and Bhojpuri.
