The sixth Diesel-U-Music awards, hosted by Lauren Laverne, took place last night in London with Roxy Music picking up a Channel 4-sponsored Icon award.
A panel of judges, including Ronnie Wood, Ian McCulloch and Mylo, listened to scores of international entries spanning hip-hop/urban, electronic and rock genres.
Italian band Stoop, whose debut album Stoopid Monkeys In The House is ready for release, took the rock award, while US collective Move.Meant scooped the hip-hop/urban category.
