As Eurosonic Noorderslag founder Peter Smidt previously told Music Week, the festival "is about discovery". There are so many acts playing that it's no surprise to hear more than 400 international festivals send teams to Groningen to sniff out the best new talent. We caught as many acts as possible over three days and came up with a shortlist of our own - bands and artists to catch if you missed them this time around.
