Townsend Music has appointed its first head of digital as the D2C company targets a million customers and rolls out its new fan-funding platform.
Paul “Barney” Barnes, a former co-founder at D2C firm Transistor Music and exec at PledgeMusic, will work across the online marketing of Townsend’s retail website and artist stores, as well as the company’s social media channels and Making Music platform.
