Bertelsmann is in “advanced talks” to buy out KKR’s majority stake in BMG Rights, according to The New York Post.
The Post says that the deal is “imminent” but their sources also caution that negotiations could still fall apart, with price being the biggest issue.
“They are very close to something with KKR, and the relationship is amicable,” said a source. “They will exit at a good multiple.”
BMG is a joint venture between both Bertelsmann and KKR.
