UK Music CEO Michael Dugher has given Music Week an update on the progress of their new diversity poll, which aims to improve diversity and break down barriers faced by those from minority groups trying to break into the industry. The UK Music Diversity Taskforce launched the industry-wide diversity survey in July to provide an “accurate snapshot” of diversity in the workplace. 

"We've already had hundreds of replies to our survey, but we want the highest possible number of responses,” says UK Music CEO Michael Dugher. “So if you work in the music business, please take a minute to click on the link and complete the survey.”

He adds: “The music industry has always been at the cutting edge of change and it should be the same when it comes to improving diversity in the workplace."
