The biggest and best awards in the music biz are back: Entries are now open for the Music Week Awards 2020.
The online entry process is under way in 26 categories, so don’t miss out on your chance to compete with the best in the biz in the only music biz awards that cover every section of the business. With the move to a new venue, this year’s ceremony was the biggest to date. The Music Week Awards will return on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Battersea Evolution in London, our new state of the art home.
Last year’s record-breaking awards – the biggest in Music Week's storied 60-year history – celebrated the achievements of companies and execs across the industry – from recorded music, music publishing, live, retail, legal, accountancy, media and radio. Jo Whiley oversaw a stellar night's proceedings as the awards presenter.
Memorable moments included Island US president Darcus Beese being presented with his Strat award by Dizzee Rascal, Polydor triumphing in the coveted Record Company Of The Year category and an outstanding speech from Atlantic promotions chief Damian Christian, the latest Music Week cover star.
Just as the event is getting bigger, so is the list of categories – 26 awards are now up for grabs, as well as the special Strat Award, which is nominated by the Music Week team.
The three new awards for 2020 are Independent Publisher Of The Year, Sync Of The Year and Sync Team Of The Year. The full list of awards categories is below:
