BBC Radio 1Xtra presenter Ace has admitted he has “huge shoes to fill” after being named as Trevor Nelson’s successor for the station’s morning slot.
Ace, who presents the 1Xtra weekend breakfast show, will take over the 10am-1pm role in January. He will also inherit the Live Lounge slot which has seen the likes of Ed Sheeran, A$AP Rocky, Jess Glynne, Stormzy and Chance The Rapper perform their own hits, as well as unexpected covers.
