Wildlife Entertainment has appointed Emma Greengrass as its new managing director.
Reporting into CEO Ian MCAndrew, Greengrass brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having occupied senior positions at Crestion Records, Big Brother Recordings, and Caroline International, where she most recently served as label head.
Commenting on the appointment, McAndrew said: “I am delighted that Emma Greengrass has accepted the position of managing director at Wildlife. Emma brings to Wildlife a wealth of experience and is hugely respected and admired within the artist and label community. She has helped manage and coordinate numerous successful campaigns for some of our most revered artists and bands. Her exceptional talent and experience will be a huge asset to our artists and team.”
Greengrass added: "I have known Ian for over 15 years, as both a respected colleague and a friend and have always hugely admired his ability to discover and develop successful artists. His artist roster is second to none in the UK management world and I am looking forward with relish to the challenge of helping him continue the success of Wildlife Entertainment as well as growing his roster over the coming years. Leaving Caroline was an incredibly hard decision to make, as their team is, in my opinion, simply the best in the label services sector and they are, after only three years in business, providing a fantastic service to a large number of high profile artists. However, the opportunity of working with the artists and team at Wildlife Entertainment was too good to turn down."
Wildlife Entertainment has also announced the promotion of accounts manager Sarah Abbott to the position of finance director. The appointment will see Abbott, who has worked at Wildlife Entertainment since 2013, support Greengrass in her new role.
McAndrew said: “I am pleased to promote Sarah Abbott to finance director in recognition of the key role she undertakes in the support of our company and the artists we represent.”
