Revered music manager Jonathan Shalit has further diversified his Roar Group management firm with the addition of double gold medal-winning Olympian boxer Nicola Adams to its client roster.
The group represents a highly eclectic array of clients from the music, comedy, broadcasting, acting, sport and publishing sectors.
Adams joins the likes of WSTRN, Louisa Johnson, Rebecca Ferguson, Pixie Lott, Louisa Johnson, Katherine Jenkins, Dame Joan Collins, Mickey Flanagan, Lorraine Kelly and Judge Rinder on Roar’s books. Her contract with the management company will run for three years.
“Nicola is an amazing young woman of our times,” said Shalit. “Her achievements inside and outside the ring make Nicola an outstanding individual in every sense and I am proud to represent her. Earlier this year, Roar Group acquired leading comedy agency CKP (Christian Knowles Productions) as part of its on-going expansion. CKP, which was founded by Christian Knowles 16 years ago, is a specialist in developing comic talent for TV, radio, live and corporate work. It currently represents comedians including Hal Cruttenden, Mark Watson, Zoe Lyons and Micky Flanagan, who has already sold over 500,000 tickets for his sell-out 2017 arena shows.
