Big Life Management and the MMF are now accepting applications for the Jazz Summers Future Genius Award, which was launched at the Artist and Manager Awards last November.
The paid internship was introduced in memory of Big Life manager and former MMF chair Jazz Summers and will be awarded to a candidate looking to establish themselves in the world of music management. The winner will spend three months each with Big Life and the MMF from June to November this year and will be given an education in all aspects of modern artist management.
Tim Parry, managing director of Big Life, commented: “Jazz always made time to educate young managers and we are delighted to work with the MMF to give a leg up to a future genius.”
Annabella Coldrick, chief executive of the MMF, added: “It’s very important for us to educate and nurture young management talent, so we are delighted to be able to offer this opportunity. We are looking forward to having a future genius in our midst.”
Applications will be accepted from now until March 3, with the winner selected by the end of March.
