First Access Entertainment has parted company with Zayn Malik.
The former One Direction star was signed to the management company for his solo career, but CEO Sarah Stennett confirmed to Variety that First Access no longer represents Malik.
The split has emerged as Malik released new single Let Me from his forthcoming second album. Malik is signed to RCA in the US.
First Access has also parted company with Ellie Goulding, who has signed to Tap Management after 10 years with Stennett's company. Its current roster includes Rita Ora, Bebe Rexha and Madison Beer, while the company has also taken a stake in Futurekind.
“Sometimes in life you have to make extremely difficult decisions to effect positive change for everyone,” Stennett told Variety.
Sony Music has not commented on the development.
