London-based artist manager and entrepreneur Duncan Ellis has announced the addition of label and publishing arms to his company Atlas Artists Management. Ellis has previously helped discover, develop and manage artists including The Young Knives (Transgressive), The Rumble Strips (Island), Foals (Transgressive), Everything Everything (RCA), Lianne La Havas (WBR) and Kodaline (RCA). The current roster comprises of Skinny Living (RCA) and Face (WBR).   

Speaking to Music Week about the venture, Ellis says: “Discovering talent and helping unleash an artist’s full potential to a global audience is something that has always excited me. It’s the reason I do what I do. Over the years I’ve successfully taken artists from pubs to clubs to arenas and beyond so the plan now is do that in association with our label and publishing company. The company has the personnel, experience, passion and infrastructure to be able to do this. I’m very excited about our future.” 

The label’s first release will be the Say What You Say EP from the label’s debut signing, HAUS.
