The manager of chart-toppers Dua Lipa and Lana Del Rey is leading this year’s Ultimate Seminar line-up.
TAP Management’s director Ben Mawson will share his experiences and wisdom with the music industry’s next generation at Europe’s only free music business seminar for aspiring professionals, in London on Saturday, November 19.
He will be joined at the seminar – which takes place at the University of Westminster’s Little Tichfield Street venue - XL Recordings’ A&R Manager Caroline Simionescu-Marin, general manager for Columbia Records UK Stacey Tang, Jammer (BBK), and Warner Music’s VP for licensee business Serene Sass.
Mawson said: "Having seen the positive impact that the seminar has on its attendees, I'm honoured to have been asked to share my story and hopefully it will inspire some new managers and artists going forward."
Now in its eighth successive year, The Ultimate Seminar gives aspiring musicians, singers, songwriters and business executives the chance to interact with some of the industry’s most influential people under one roof
Organised by Cre8ing Vision in association with the University of Westminster, the Ultimate Seminar’s all-day programme will consist of seven panels.
Other speakers lined up for the 2017 edition include Wired PR founder Rachel Campbell, Rich Castillo, a senior A&R manager at Polydor and Tiana Major9.
Cre8ing Vision founders, Kwame Kwaten, Nicola Charles and Andrea Euell said: "2017 will be a massive year – the shape of the music industry has been transformed in recent years and the Ultimate Seminar is a great opportunity to speak about these changes.
"We have some incredible speakers lined up, and have had great support from the industry."
