YMU Group has appointed Mary Bekhait to the newly created role of UK CEO.
Bekhait, previously MD of YMU’s entertainment division, will oversee the five UK divisions of sport, music, drama, entertainment and business management.
She will continue to report to YMU Global CEO Neil Rodford. The move is part of the group's global expansion strategy.
Rodford said: “Mary’s ability to align business with emotional intelligence is an inspiring and energising combination. Mary is a proven leader and someone who has a proven track record of delivering for our clients and colleagues. We want YMU to be a place where people do the best work of their lives and Mary’s appointment is pivotal in helping to deliver this.
"I am excited to continue working with and learning from Mary. The opportunities YMU can offer clients and colleagues are greater than ever and we are committed to providing the resources and leadership to ensure that we continue to deliver”.”
Bekhait said: “I am incredibly excited to be continuing the brilliant work of Neil and the rest of the senior YMU management team. It is a privilege to work with so many people with an unrivalled passion, commitment and flair in delivering emotionally and financially intelligent long-term careers advice for our clients. The possibilities feel endless as we work together to continue expanding and nurturing the careers of our clients and colleagues alike.”
Bekhait has been with the YMU Group (formerly known as James Grant Group) for over seven years, managing clients including Davina McCall, Holly Willoughby, Fearne Cotton and Reggie Yates. She was promoted to deputy MD of the entertainment division in 2016, becoming MD in 2017.
