Ticketmaster has dealt with 10,000 "unscrupulous" applications for free tickets for Sunday's One Love Manchester benefit gig from people falsely claiming to have attended Ariana Grande's Manchester Arena show.
Available tickets sold out within minutes of going on sale on Thursday morning, with 14,200 free tickets set aside for people who went to the May 22 concert.
"More than 25,000 people applied for [the 14,200 free tickets]," said Ticketmaster, in a statement. "Sadly, over 10,000 unscrupulous applications have been made.
"At Ticketmaster we are doing everything we can - including extending today’s deadline - to ensure that tickets go to the actual fans and not the opportunists or touts who have also been applying for free tickets.”
Little Mix, Robbie Williams and Black Eyed Peas have been added to the bill for the One Love Manchester benefit concert headlined by Ariana Grande on Sunday, June 4.
They join Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Take That and Niall Horan on the bill at Emirates Old Trafford to honour and raise vital funds for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, set up by Manchester City Council in partnership with the British Red Cross, in aid of victims and families affected by the Manchester attack.
BBC One and BBC Radio will broadcast the event from 6.55pm to 10pm on Sunday. It will also simulcast on Capital Radio Networks. The BBC will be the host broadcaster for international television networks. The show will also be streamed with a digital partner worldwide, to be announced soon.
