American Express Presents BST Hyde Park has confirmed that Taylor Swift will headline the festival on Saturday, July 11 next year.
Last month’s Music Week cover star is the third act to be announced for AEG’s festival in 2020. Other acts confirmed so far include Little Mix and Pearl Jam.
Swift last performed at BST Hyde Park in 2015. She played her own stadium shows in the UK last summer. The US superstar spoke to Music Week about her touring plans, which will see her play a series of festivals rather than stadium shows. She played an intimate live return in Paris in September.
Swift scored another transatlantic No.1 with Lover earlier this year. She has since been embroiled in a row with former label Big Machine.
AEG recently confirmed a two-year deal with The Royal Parks and the new sponsorship agreement with American Express. Eligible card members get pre-sale access from December 3-6 before tickets go on sale to the general public.
BST was recently awarded gold on Attitude Is Everything’s Charter of Best Practice for its facilities for deaf and disabled fans, including accessible viewing areas, roaming drinks vendors, lowered counters, dedicated accessible entrances with shuttles from car parking and British Sign Language interpreters for all acts on The Great Oak Stage.
