BBC Radio 1Xtra has announced that three further artists, Popcaan, Stefflon Don and Kojo Funds, will join the BBC Radio 1Xtra Live line-up.
Hosted by 1Xtra DJs, the station’s flagship live music event will take place at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday, September 22. Among the previously announced artists performing are Chance The Rapper, Chip, Ella Mai, Jorja Smith, Mist, Mr Eazi, Pusha T and Yxng Bane, with more names to be announced in the coming weeks.
Last year 1Xtra celebrated its 15th anniversary. The station has maintained its audience above 1 million in the latest RAJAR results.
Popcaan said: “The UK holds a special place in my heart so can’t wait to perform for you guys - all my UK fans look out for a very special performance.”
Kojo Funds said: “I’m excited to be playing at this year’s 1Xtra Live. The O2 is such a sick venue, can’t wait to perform there!”
1Xtra Live will be broadcast on BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Asian Network.
