One Direction were music’s biggest ticket sellers in 2015, with more than 2.3 million people attending their concerts, it has been revealed.

According to Pollstar’s worldwide ticket sales report, a total of 2,364,390 tickets were sold for 1D's tour last year. Swift was a close second on 2,273,328, with Ed Sheeran a distant third with 1,578,003.

Foo Fighters were fourth on 1,365,006 and country singer Kenny Chesney fifth at 1,363,190. Rounding off the top 10 were U2, Fleetwood Mac, ...
