Justin Bieber has cancelled the remaining dates of his Purpose World Tour, citing "unforseen circumstances".
Bieber had completed 154 shows on the 18-month tour, and had 14 concerts left to play in Asia and the US. He most recently visited the UK earlier this month for shows at British Summer Time Hyde Park and Cardiff Principality Stadium.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts," read the statement.
"Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months. He is grateful and honoured to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across six continents during this run. However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase."
His manager Scooter Braun posted on Instagram: "An incredible run. Congrats to Justin Bieber on an incredible tour and thank you to the entire cast and crew for your unending support.
"To the fans from all over the world who took part over the last 16 months over six continents thank you.
"On behalf of myself, Justin, and the team, we are sorry. That was never our intent. But a man's soul and well-being I truly care about came first and we must all respect and honour that."
The tour was the world's third-biggest music ticket seller in the first half of 2017, behind only Guns N' Roses and U2, after shifting 961,723 tickets and grossing $93.2 million (£71.6m), an average of $3.58m (£2.75m) per show.
