Guns N' Roses grossed $116.8 million (£87.9m) from the North American leg of the reunited band's Not In This LIfetime... Tour.
The 25-date tour, which ran from June 23 to August 22, took in 21 stadiums and was attended by more than one million fans, according to Billboard. It will go on to visit Latin America in the autumn and then Asia and Australia in early 2017.
European dates are expected for next summer, with the band heavily rumoured to headline the UK's Download Festival.
GN'R leads Billboard's latest Hot Tours list by a wide margin from Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, who garnered $33.6m (£25.2m) from five performances. Springsteen's concert at Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park on Wednesday night clocked in at just under four hours, four minutes - his longest ever US show and the second longest in his career, trailing only his four hour, six minute stand in Helsinki, Finland, in 2012.
