Finding The Female Headliner relaunched as ROAR

Finding the Female Headliner (FTFH) is being rebranded as ROAR, with four UK dates announced for September.

FTFH was a monthly showcase night launched by Robomagic Live in 2015 to provide a platform for talented female musicians, addressing the lack of female headliners on festival bills.

"The rebrand stemmed from a desire to change the name,” said promoter Kath Butler. “We decided on ROAR as it denotes a fierce and powerful voice whilst not speaking to a prescribed gender orientation.”

The series will kick off at Bristol Exchange on September 19 Rozelle, Amy Yon, Carys Selvy. Birthdays London will host Lovestarrs album launch on September 20 along with Camp Claude and Katie Coleman, while Brighton Prince Albert will welcome Nova Twins (pictured), Clever Thing and Porridge Radio on the same evening.

Manchester Sound Control will then host the final tour date on September 26, featuring Nova Twins, Molly Warburton, Chloe Foy and Kiera Lawlor.

Partnering with PRS for Music for the tour, all ticket proceeds will go to The Eve Appeal, the only UK national charity raising awareness and funding research in the five gynaecological cancers.
